The Locker Room - Amy Lane This was quite simply a beautiful book and a beautiful love story. I'm so glad the prologue indicated that Xander and Chris had a HEA, because I don't think my heart could've made it through the book in tact not knowing. It made their story no less heart breaking though. I loved the depth of feeling the author was able to convey. I was sucked in from the beginning and it never let me go. This book had been on my radar for quite some time, but I hadn't read it primarily because of the cover. If you also have a cover hang up, don't let this stop you. IMO, the cover and the actual book are worlds apart. I read so many books and very few stories stay with me long term. I have no doubt that this will be one I continue to think about.
