Before I write a single angry word, I want to start off by saying that this book is worth reading. I absolutely did like the book, but the book also royally pissed me off in a BIG way. I'm pissed at Tyler. (I called him so many bad names I lost count.) I'm pissed at Sabrina. I don't care what excuse he gave you...he f#cking straight up cheated on your ass and you decide to uproot your life and move to be close to him? (yes, I know Sabrina isn't a real person and I'm talking to her like she is...bite me.) I'm pissed at Julia. WTF? It makes absolutely no sense to me that she suddenly becomes team Tyler after seeing him look a little sad. He just screwed your BFF over!! WTF? The ending pissed me off too. It just was wrapped up too nice and neat. (In case you didn't get the memo, this book obviously struck a nerve.) Whew, I feel better now. With all that said, I was obviously emotionally engaged. I loved the angst and heartache. I loved Sabrina's strength while confronting her past. (I adored her mom!!) And even though I did write the paragraph above, I loved Tyler's tenderness. 4 stars.
